Fighting for animal welfare

Two girls have taken on supermarkets over the sale of caged eggs, on different sides of the world!

12-year-old Maja Skilling organised a campaign to get a New Zealand supermarket chain to stop selling caged eggs, and it worked! 

14-year-old Lucy Gavaghan did the same in the UK, convincing supermarket giant Tescos to stop selling caged eggs after her online petition attracted over 280,000 signatures.
